City Haul, Inc. offers a wide array of services aimed at providing the best possible service to its customers. Located in the heart of the transportation hub of the nation, City Haul has interchange areements with every steamship line and rail road in the Chicago Metropolitan area and is party to the Uniform Intermodal Interchange Agreement (UIIA). City Haul offers Iternational and Domestic, Import and Export drayage to and from customers within an approximate 250 mile radius of Chicago. The service zone includes IL, IN, WI, MI, OH and IA.
A. International & Domestic Drayage.
B. Crosstowns.
C. Overweight Loads. City Haul offers tri-axle and spread-axle chassis in order to legally haul your overweight loads so that
you can maximize your payload.
D. Refrigerated Containers. City Haul staff and drivers have years of experience in hauling refrigerated containers to and from
Chicago area freezer warehouses and can professionally handle this unique segment of the market.
E. 24 hrs. Operations. City Haul operates 24hrs Monday through Saturday. Saturday nights and Sunday's are available as well
upon request. City Haul is there when you need them to be.
F. Haz Mat. City Haul is registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation to haul hazardous freight. Nearly all of City
Haul's drivers have their Haz Mat endorsement and receive annual training in order to assure that Haz Mat loads are
handled as safely as possible.
G. TWIC cardholders. Nearly all of City Haul's drivers have been approved and carry TWIC cards. Many facilities that operate
on a waterway now require that all drivers operating within their facility have TWIC cards. City Haul has been proactive in
obtaining cards for its drivers to ensure that your freight can be safely picked up of delivered anywhere. City Haul also
offers escort services from it's facility to and from TWIC facilities for OTR drivers who are not approved.
H. U.S. Customs Bonded. City Haul is a Customs Bonded to carrier and can haul your freight that requires customs
inspections.
I. EDI. City Haul's dispatch software can support a full range of EDI tranmissions to ensure that you receive real time status
updates to better track your freight.
J. Mobile Communications. City Haul's drivers are dispatched with the latest in mobile communications sofware. Drivers are
dispatched via internet to eliminate lag time and verbal miscommunications. Drivers then provide status updates as the
pick up or delivery progress to provide real time event tracking. All drivers are equipped with GPS software so that you can
find your load anywhere and at anytime.
K. Maintenance. City Haul utilizes 100% company drivers and company equipment. Equipment is maintained in house by our
professionally ;trained mechanic. Just like City Haul's commitment to customers vehicle maintenance is proactive, not
reactive. City Haul will not operate unsafe or poorly maintained equipment.
